Being a Governor
Being a governor is an important role which requires commitment and dedication in order for success to be achieved. Each member must contribute to the work of the Governing Body in raising standards of achievement for all pupils, providing a strategic view for the school and acting as a critical friend. Governors must also ensure accountability for those involved in the running of the Academy and be accountable themselves for their decisions and actions.
